This was announced recently by Hong Kong-based events company Eventus International that the second edition of its India event, called Strategic Platform for iGaming Conference & Exhibition (SPICE) like this year’s conference will debate on Indian betting and gambling in the coming new year. This year’s ground-breaking first Sports betting and gaming India Summit (SGBI), attended to capacity and supported to so well by the gaming fraternity in India and the world over, succeeded in bringing together key stakeholders. With an agenda designed to illuminate the status quo – and consider the case for legalisation and regulation, and exploring commercial opportunities, responsible gambling and consumer protection and legislation and regulation as a vehicle to ensure betting integrity – this event allowed for discussion and debate on the future of betting, gaming and gambling in India. SBGI has now been rebranded as “Strategic Platform for iGaming Conference and Exhibition” (Spice) India is renowned for its different spices and masalas. The 2019 event will create a beautiful blend of speakers and points of discussion for a memorable event.

According to Yudi Soetjiptadi, Managing Director at Eventus International after the successful SBGI summit and exhibition last year, they hope to continue the dialogue with SPICE, which will be received as a constructive initiative, presenting an opportunity to both the Indian government and regulator and the gambling and gaming industry.
